Producers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabinaa Khan who co-produced blockbuster
films, Rowdy Rathore and Gabbar Is Back will be now making a Marathi film.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bhansali Production'ss forays into regional cinema with
this Marathi film. The film which is
untitled till now is directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi of Mitwaa fame . It
stars Swapnil Joshi in the main lead.
Talking about venturing into Marathi cinema says Sanjay
Leela Bhansali says, "I always wanted to be part of Marathi films. As a child,
I used to watch a lot of Marathi films. Their audience is very receptive to
good cinema. I have been a big fan of this cinema, be it films made by V
Shantaram, Dada Kondke or Kashinath Ghanekar."
