Noted designer duo
Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla gave an ode
to Retro Chic, by presenting their latest collection Jawani Jaaneman at the Lakme Fashion Week.
Interestingly the ramp was transformed into a disco from the
70s, with shiny disco balls, gleaming floor and retro songs, which took the
audience trip down the memory lane. The collection was made for the global diva
comprised of wide variety of attires right from capes to gowns and from saris
to kaftan.
The designer duo also hosted a grand post-show party for
their friends and clients .The who’s who
from the Bollywood and Fashion industry attended the party.The high profile guest list
included Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna, Sussanne Khan, Sonali
Bendre, Anu Dewan, Dolly Sidhwani, Bhavana Pandey, Kaykashan Patel and Bhumi Pednekar et al.
